Dottie Boscamp
Molten glass is the medium I choose to work with because it is very responsive. Every movement of every second affects the glass. The glass blowing process is similar to dancing because I am always moving and responding to my partner, which is glass. I graduated from Illinois State University in 2002 with a Bachelor's degree in art with an emphasis in photography and glass. I gained an enormous amount of knowledge from the teacher Jack Wax, a famous glass artist. He taught many glass processes such as glass casting, hot and cold blow molds and vessel blowing. Currently, I am operating my own studio in the Fort Collins area where classes and live demonstrations are available.
